See that photo above? That, dear Techies, is rumored to be another addition to Sammy's already vast Galaxy line of handsets. Called the Mini 2, this one could very well be a low-end offering running on Android Gingerbread.
As what can be seen from the image, the device will sport a 3.3-inch HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) touchscreen while a 800MHz chip should run things for the Mini 2. Far from drool-worthy, we know, but at least these are improvements from the first Mini. Internal storage tops out at 3GB while a 3.2-megapixel shooter will take care of things in the imaging department.
As with leaks like this one, info on SRPs and availability is lacking although the image shows the Feb 2012 tag which might mean it could arrive within the month, maybe even before MWC 2012. Anyway, we're happy if this will land here since it most probably is a cheaper offering for those who want to jump on the Android Gingerbread bandwagon.
